Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business presents the Intercollegiate Business Convention
About
The Intercollegiate Business Convention is an annual event organized by Harvard Undergraduate Women in Business that draws students nationally and internationally. Every year, IBC encourages tomorrow's leaders to boldly pursue their career goals. By exposing them to a vast range of industries and a wide network of professionals, we will help participants redefine their conception of business by introducing them to a variety of opportunities and by highlighting the importance of corporate social responsibility.
- Over 25 interactive breakout sessions covering everything from Fashion to I-Banking
- Inspirational keynote speakers. Marissa Mayer (Google's Vice President of Search Product and User Experience) and Lauren Merkin (Handbag Designer)
- An exclusive career fair and networking reception with representatives from industry leading firms and admission officers from top business schools
- The opportunity to meet other dynamic women from around the country and world
- Business For Good, a Social Enterprise Business Plan Competition: All IBC attendees have the opportunity to participate.
This year's conference will also feature an exclusive networking cocktail reception, a cocktail-party setting where companies can interact one-on-one with individuals they select personally. Companies are sent resumes via email; then send invites to those they would like to connect with. Selected participants will be notified by e-mail a week prior to the conference.
